Anything that can go wrong, usually does during Mercury retrograde. Simply put Mercury Retrograde is when the planet Mercury creates an Optical Illusion and appears to be going in reverse when seen from Earth. It’s actually just standing still. In Astrology, Mercury rules Communication, Technology, Travel and Logic. In todays climate when we rely so heavily on technology, it can often feel like chaos lol. Luckily there’s only 3 Mercury Retrogrades per year and they only last around 3 weeks each. This current retrograde began on 29th May and will end on 22nd June…. My WooWoo pals are already reporting experiencing the effects and feeling out of sorts. It’s a standing joke to dread Retrogrades in New Age circles.
I think there is something to be said for being informed about what this all means and learning to work with the powerful trends. Popular things to avoid are signing contracts, beginning long term projects, its not a great time to purchase or replace electrical gadgets or vehicles. Avoid renewing your Passport or organising travel and add some extra time to any journey to encompass any delays. The weather will also be unpredictable. Something we are quite used to in the UK…
It’s not all doom and gloom though. Retrograde is a great time to do things that start with “Re”: repair, research rethink, recalculate, rewrite, retake, repossess, recall and remember. In other words take a good look at many aspects of your life and see if anything needs tweaking or improvement. And then be ready to act on 22nd June once its over.
It’s written that you may be contacted by old friends or exes during this particular period and its up to you whether you entertain a reunion… there may also be breakups, but its fair to say these would have been on the cards for some time..
